Coastal Flood Warning issued May 12 at 3:53AM EDT until May 12 at 3:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC * WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County. * WHEN...Until 3 PM EDT this afternoon, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS...At 3.2 feet, water begins to approach businesses on Dock Street in Annapolis. The City Dock parking lot is flooded. Compromise Street is flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet above normal. The next two high tides at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy are at 9:30 AM and 9:26 PM. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
